The expected top seller was John Lennon's manuscript of "A Day in the Life" (1967), which did even better than expected, making $1,202,500. The next priciest lot was a collection of about forty Magritte letters and postcards, which sold for $218,500. A copy of Petrus Scriverius' Principes Hollandiae (1650) made $116,500.
