I very rarely don't finish a book once I've started it. I made an exception to that rule for
Absurdistan by Gary Shteyngart. This book may have been listed among the "best of 2006" by oodles of newspapers, but I couldn't manage to get into it at all. I lasted about thirty pages and then gave it up - life's too short and there are far too many good books out there. Maybe there's something there for someone else, but it was not for me.
