Yesterday some friends and I ventured up the coast from Boston and visited Gloucester; somehow we ended up in Dogtown Bookshop, which has just recently reopened in a new location on Main Street. We browsed around awhile, and I was very impressed with the stock and the selection. Good amounts of New England/Massachusetts/&c. books, as well as a nice case of books on books and much more. They're still in a little bit of organization mode after the move, but no matter ... it was a great shop for a browse (or as the sign on the door put it, "exploratory shopping"). I'll be sure to make it a regular stop when I'm up that direction.
Be sure to check out the other signage as well: our favorite was "Unattended children will be given an espresso and a free puppy."
