From the Unfortunate Names Department

Historianess reports some fascinating names she came across recently while working on seventeenth-century England: Praise-God Barebone (c. 1596-1679; biography), his brother Christ-came-into-the-world-to-save Barebone, and the baby of the family If-Christ-had-not-died-thou-hadst-been-damned Barebone (commonly known simply as Damned Barebone).*

*There is apparently some dispute about whether the second two actually existed.
