Joel Achenbach writes in the WaPo today on George Washington's financial records, which were the subject of a recent workshop at Mount Vernon. Scholars are trying to figure out how best to publish the records (many are already online through the Library of Congress, but without transcriptions or interpretation).
Fascinating story, and a good project, if funding can be obtained.
