Another Big Sale for "Emma"

The only known presentation copy of Jane Austen's Emma (inscribed by the author to her friend Anne Sharp) has been sold to a British collector for £325,000. The copy was last sold at auction in June 2008, when it made £180,000 at Bonham's. The buyer then (and seller now) was Jonkers Rare Books of Henley.
